Is it possible to get your ex back? Of course you can, but it might not be very easy. The big stumbling block is your ex is the one who broke off the relationship so they have the power in the relationship. With quiet persistence you need to get the power back from your ex. But the power we’re talking about is something different than what you might be thinking.
You need to take the relationship leverage away from your ex, that is what your goal is going to be. Most people have no idea how to do this and it seems to be completely illogical, but it works.
The first thing do to is really nothing. You don’t want to let your ex know you want to get back together, you want them to think you are in agreement with the breakup. Of course this will be very difficult to pull off, but think about it. If you just broke up with someone, the last thing you would want is them trying to talk to you, seeing, or trying to do errands for you because they want you to see what a great person they are. Does that make sense?
Also, if they know you are desperate to get back together, they can use you, because they know you will do anything to get back together. You do not want to fall into this trap.
So the best thing to do is not see or talk to your ex for a few weeks. What this does is get them wondering what you are doing, who are you seeing and why you haven’t called. They might even start getting a little concerned that you don’t care about them. This is the way to start getting the relationship power back.
